Radar Structures

The Long Range Radar (LRR) is an advanced 3D AESA type Radar that constitutes a crucial part of India’s ABM programme. SEC Industries is proud to have manufactured the mechanical structures for the country’s first indigenously developed LRR, LRTR.

Capable of tracking 200 targets, even as small as 3”, over a range of 600 Km, this complex mechanical structure was built by SEC at its works at Hyderabad. The structures were first manufactured for Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and later indigenously developed in association with LRDE/DRDO.
